Sternway documentation
Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma.
Sternway is an SSH client for the desktop (Linux and Windows) and the phone (Android). It opens SSH, SFTP, Mosh, Telnet, serial and local terminals, keeps your hosts, keys, snippets and port forwards in an encrypted vault on the device, and can sync that vault between your devices through a server you or your team run. It works offline with no account.
These docs are organised in four parts.
Lessons for your first time, one task each from start to finish.
- Connect to your first host on the desktop
- Connect to your first host on your phone
- Turn on encrypted sync between two devices
- Set up a team and share a vault
- Run your own sync server with Docker
Recipes for specific tasks: importing hosts, SSH keys, port forwarding, SFTP, snippets, backups, running the sync server, troubleshooting and more.
Lists generated from the code: every field and setting, keyboard shortcuts, the command line, the sync server’s API, error codes, team policies and environment variables.
How and why it works: the encryption, the threat model, what leaves your device, sync and conflicts, teams and trust, data safety and licensing.
